I say that because Affiliate Funnel seminars are about teaching marketers the real secrets of making money online

Where else will you hear an owner say, “the worst thing you can do is promote somebody elses’ site instead of your own and that includes mine.” Jon Olson and Paul Kinder say that all time

But nearly other seminar I have attended in the traffic exchange and business opportunity niches tells people to use the splash pages, the banners.

Look if you promote other peoples websites, then you are building their brand awareness, their list and you are fattening their bank account – not yours

Here I will show you what I mean

A good traffic exchange with dynamite one time offer and compelling login offers may get 10 percent of their members to upgrade. You might get $3.50 to $5.00 per referral per month

That means if you want to make $500.00 per month by building downlines in traffic exchanges you would have to refer 1000 people

How many hundreds of thousands or millions of credits will take to get 1000 referrals?

It’s astronomical

And while the owners will gladly pay you for your 100 upgrades, they got 1000 people they can email offers to, they got their names stuck in hundreds of thousands people’s heads and they have 1000 members clicking on ads inside the member’s area

It doesn’t have to be that way

You don’t need to own a traffic exchange to make money with traffic exchanges. But you can make money by doing the things traffic exchange owners do

And the first thing to do is get the names and email addresses of your visitors. Then you  give them good reasons to visit your blog or pages inside your website like download pages

That way they will be clicking on your ads and your affiliate links instead of somebody elses’ affiliate links

I know it may seem overwhelming to you. Making money online is not easy and don’t let anybody tell you different. But people do make money when they are first starting out and they do it by building a list

Even though I chomping at the bit to share these numbers with you, there is an easy to fix issue with the Internet Explore that I want to deal with instead.

Some people using Internet Explorer are have problems accessing the member’s area while surfing. It’s not a problem with Tezak Traffic Power – it is merely that two settings in Internet Explorer need to be changed.

But the Exchange Owners who commented at Netmarketingforum.com thread seem to regard Twitter spam merely as a problem facing individuals using Twitter.

Twitter does not think that way.

Fred Wilson, sits on the board of Twitter. he is also VC of Union Square Ventures, a firm providing funding for Twitter. Fred says the value of the Twitter lies in passed links. We already know that, don’t we?

He also recently talked about how Twitter is developing algorithms to determine whether a passed link is spam or not.

Here is the rub, Twitter could prevent people spamming links by considering any link to some domains as spam. That would prevent all members and the owners from using Twitter to market their traffic exchanges. Twitter could also truncate links and put an end to all members tossing out links.

I am sure you would agree, either solution is bad, wouldn’t you?

That’s why I presented a possible solution owners could use to police members. Most traffic exchanges don’t allow email spam, why allow social spam?

All These Twitter Accounts Promote One Traffic Exchange Referral Link

If you are anything like me, then you can’t stand Muppets using multiple Twitter accounts to blast their traffic exchange referral links

And don’t even think of telling me to unfollow or block. They don’t work because you can’t, as far as I know, block by IP address, yet

But that’s not what gets my blood boiling, this does;

If you are searching for conversations regarding traffic exchanges or traffic exchange tips, the chances of finding what you want are slim to none. But you will see spam.

This is a real black eye to the community, not some smoking baby.

My suggestion is simple. Change the Terms of Service so the definition of spam includes…

1) using automated software

2) multiple accounts at social networking sites

3) targeting the keywords people, likely join traffic exchanges, use to find marketing info,

in such a manner to create negative thoughts in potential members will, at the owners discretion, result in account termination

It has to be done at the owner’s discretion because there are ways to use the tools and sites to make healthy contributions to the community

Now I have even more questions

How does it help? Are we talking free search, paid search or what?

I can see how a link on the main page could help getting back links for affiliate program owners but how does that help a surfer with a blog?

I purchased a start page at ListSurfer.com and 210 unique visitors viewed my page a total of  323 times today  and 9 people subscribed.

The numbers are 1 subscriber per every 35.89 per page view or 1 subsrciber per 23,3 unique visitor.

As you can see from the Hitsconnect.com screenshot, its the only place I have picked up subscribers so far. That should you tell you these are real numbers. It also tells me to start creating  traffic exchange pages too.

I modified it slightly  I change the width to 790 pixels and I used decimals in the headline
