While a manifestation of an answer shall occur later, will it matter? And what does a taking pathological approach to traffic exchanges really teach?

While a manifestation of an answer shall occur later, will it matter? And what does a taking pathological approach to traffic exchanges really teach?

And what I read today on Tim Linden’s Blog and later – Jon Olson’s Hit Exchange News, was, well…EERIE jumped out FIRST – so it was certainly weird with paramnesian overtones.

It all started for me while blizzards tore through unprepared communities. That’s when Tim Linden asked, “What should the owners of dead traffic exchanges do?”

Hit Exchange News figures 95% of exchange owners fail.

I ask, “How can a traffic exchange die when it never lived?”

Tim doesn’t figure design is one of the 5 reasons why traffic exchanges die. “You can’t live with a crappy design,” I say

Jon Olson’s, “How to Not Run a Traffic Exchange” is a must read for aspiring owners. And surfers better read it too. You don’t want to fall victim to the imperfectly spawned exchanges.

“They are broken ghouls and don’t even know it,” I say.

And the way I see it, the pathological approach confirms what Jon says, what I say, what others say too. That shouldn’t come as no surprise to you when you realize we say entirely different things

And to think, today is Valentines Day.

I was going to write about how romancing your leads can triple your response rates but then with mind blowing clarity it struck me; do you have any leads to begin with?

Confusing isn’t it?

I admit it. I did it on purpose because being confused is necessary to fully understand and implement an important marketing principle.

Before we get to the principle…

… it’s time to clear your mind of confusing confusers. Don’t even think for the moment or two. Breathe in deeply and slowly, really slowly let it out.

Now think how overwhelmed new marketers are when they start finding about the hundreds of little details about building lists

Its’ no wonder they don’t do it. We are confusing them with information overload. We need to see things from our audience’s eyes.

That’s why my new newsletter, my Traffic Wave newsletter, is far different from anything you seen from me

The initial email series teaches the stuff new marketers want to learn

Stuff like the 3 Steps to Building Huge Downlines from Scratch

How to get going promoting yourself when you haven’t started a list yet

An easy way to overcome biggest hurdle that stops most folks dead in their tracks before they even get started

And yes, we will be talking about lists a lot but not all the time

And you get all that plus the 10 Laws of Getting Paid Signups over at DeadlyAffiliateTactics.com

Everyone thinks that viral list builders are the big secret to getting huge lists almost overnight

But it’s time to face facts

Most people don’t make money with them for two big reasons

And I am not talking about using them to build your own personal list

In fact, I use safelists and list builders to promote giveaways and other hot time sensitive programs and so do many other successful marketers

The two reasons are….

1) Not using them consistently

That should come as no surprise to you when you consider how many list builders and safelists are out there

It easy to get overwhelmed with keeping track of emails, login information, when to email, subject lines and a whole whack of other things

I forget to use them too

And not using them consistently is costing you and me sales and referrals

2) Not getting your emails read

The competition to get safelist and viral list emails read is insanely intense.

And using the same subject lines as everybody else is a recipe for unmitigated disaster, no matter how often or many emails you send out

The way to beat the competition at their own game is use hypnotic subject lines that get people to open your emails and take action now!

Now, I can almost your mind thinking, “well, that’s all well and good to tell me this stuff. But I want to know how to actually do it.”

Well, the secret to constantly using the list builders and safelists is organization

And two of the highest selling marketers using list builders just released the ultimate tool for doing exactly that

Imagine having on place to ….

* manage all your emails
* save your emails… no more losing swipe files,
* keep track of when you email
* referral ids

Its designed to discipline you and is designed to make you take action…. and that, my friend, is what you and I need.

It’s called Viral Mailer Profits

And you join it without spending a dime here

http://viralmailerprofits.com

And while it manage your email and subject lines, it won’t create them for you

That’s why Mike Paetzold and I are going to give anyone who gets a gold membership under me, our top secret subject line templates that we use get results from the emails we send

Basically, you will get 21 proven tested templates you can use to blow the lid off your email marketing profits

All you need to do is grab a gold membership at Viral Mailer Profits and then open a support ticket at http://askmikepaetzold.com and include your receipt

NAME, I know you want to build your Traffic Wave
there is a lot of buzz about Traffic wave right now.

what Brian Rooney, Owner of Traffic Wave, says about me
Link Cloaker for everything else

http://twittertrafficvirus.com/likes/thephantom

If you were expecting rest of the line to be something like…”But When I Sent Out My First Email… They Started Signing Up Like Crazy.” You would be wrong. I decided to publish this before I finished switching over

But what a stir this caused on Net Marketing Forum, Lynne McCutcheon’s blog has outstanding coverage and Scott Douglas even referenced it on the OBA forum

Jon Olson explained his reasoning behind his decision on Ilovehits blog, Tim Linden did the same on his blog and I guess it’s my turn now

First of all, I did not make this decision lightly or in haste. Jerry Iannucci of Safelist Marketing Tactics and I have been talking on Skype about switching for a couple of weeks now.

For me there where several factors that warmed me up to the idea of using Traffic Wave.

First and foremost, is Brian Rooney. He is an active member of our community. He is deeply concerned about getting email delivered as evidenced by taking time to address the deliverability concerns, I and other marketers raised at net marketing forum.

He also espouses the same philosophy I and every other established marketer does when it comes affiliate marketing; Promote Yourself First and only promote affiliate links after you have gotten them on your list

And Aweber is getting more and more complex. All the features can be overwhelming to new marketers. And some of the new features I really didn’t to too much about because I had other solutions that did the same thing already in place

But there was one big thing that kept Jerry and I stuck in the just talking about it phase

Its going to take hours upon hours to modify all the pages I have in rotation, I have a new back office to learn. I have to set up my campaigns change variables

At the Affiliate Funnel Saturday Seminar, Jon Olson said, “don’t switch.” That’s good advice because it is a tremendous amount of work even with Brian graciously offering to have his support staff to do much of the work

Talk about service

He is what drove me forward, Jon signed up during Friday’s Traffic Exchange Live broadcast. Jon and I have hoisted a couple beers together and I could see his genuine excitement with the Traffic Wave back office. Jon isn’t a techy type of guy.

And that was push I needed to make the decision I wanted to make but wouldn’t because of the work involved

That’s exactly why I echo Jon’s advice, don’t switch if you are already entrenched with Aweber, there is just too much work to do

But the back office is a blast. It’s straight forward and very easy to navigate. I am really glad I made the change.

And I say to everybody not building their list yet, get Traffic Wave and start as soon as you can

Affiliate Funnel is world famous for its free seminars and I am not saying that because I have hosted more seminars than I can count.

I say that because Affiliate Funnel seminars are about teaching marketers the real secrets of making money online

Where else will you hear an owner say, “the worst thing you can do is promote somebody elses’ site instead of your own and that includes mine.” Jon Olson and Paul Kinder say that all time

But nearly other seminar I have attended in the traffic exchange and business opportunity niches tells people to use the splash pages, the banners.

Look if you promote other peoples websites, then you are building their brand awareness, their list and you are fattening their bank account – not yours

Here I will show you what I mean

A good traffic exchange with dynamite one time offer and compelling login offers may get 10 percent of their members to upgrade. You might get $3.50 to $5.00 per referral per month

That means if you want to make $500.00 per month by building downlines in traffic exchanges you would have to refer 1000 people

How many hundreds of thousands or millions of credits will take to get 1000 referrals?

It’s astronomical

And while the owners will gladly pay you for your 100 upgrades, they got 1000 people they can email offers to, they got their names stuck in hundreds of thousands people’s heads and they have 1000 members clicking on ads inside the member’s area

It doesn’t have to be that way

You don’t need to own a traffic exchange to make money with traffic exchanges. But you can make money by doing the things traffic exchange owners do

And the first thing to do is get the names and email addresses of your visitors. Then you give them good reasons to visit your blog or pages inside your website like download pages

That way they will be clicking on your ads and your affiliate links instead of somebody elses’ affiliate links

I know it may seem overwhelming to you. Making money online is not easy and don’t let anybody tell you different. But people do make money when they are first starting out and they do it by building a list

If you don’t where to start, grab John Guanzon’s and Winter Perkins Free TE List Building e-book. You can even rebrand it and use it to build your own list or give it away to your list

Or you can buy my home study course with 2 ½ hours of audio, a 94 page companion guide and a whole whack of bonuses at http://thelistmarketingsystem.com/

It’s not a problem with Tezak Traffic Power – it is merely that two settings in Internet Explorer need to be changed.

The video explains all:
